Nikita is a little boy who is madly in love with a girl named Christina. He often sat under her window and felt happy when he saw her silhouette. He thought she was unreachable and unattainable, but on New Year’s Eve he decided to ask her to dance. Although she was shorter than him, she agreed to dance with him, which made him very nervous.
When the music died down, Nikita managed to tear her gaze away from her for a moment so he could finally catch his breath, wondering why the other guys weren’t interested in her. Mikita’s mother, however, didn’t share her son’s feelings for Christina.
She believed her son deserved better than her. Mikita’s father remarried and convinced the boy that there were more opportunities in the city where he could study and work in the future. Mikita succumbed to his parents’ persuasion, but before he left, he drew a picture of Christina and hung it above his bed as a memento.
Many years later, Nikita met Marina and they hit it off at first sight. They married and a year later their daughter Sofia was born. The image of Christina fades into the background of his memory; Nikita loves his baby girl.
One evening, during dinner, Mikita’s phone rang and told him that his father was sick and that he had to visit him. He set off alone for his hometown, leaving his wife and daughter at home.
His father resisted and the procedure was successful. Nikita returned from the hospital with a sense of relief, breathing in the crisp autumn air. Suddenly he sees Christina, whom he immediately recognizes. They struck up a conversation and he learned that she was single but had a daughter. He drove her home and helped her with the baby.
The next day Nikita visited her father again, and then went to Christina with a large bouquet of red roses. Christina was not surprised to see him and they spent the entire evening talking about their lives.
Nikita still thought Christina was unapproachable and didn’t dare ask her to tea. As a result, Nikita’s love for Kristina was still a high school dream. When he returned to the capital, he moved on with his life, finding happiness again with his wife and daughter.
